Car repairs

I got up and went to work this morning. After work, I came back up to Bay City and met Brenden at school to work on his car. He has a bad leak in his heater core. We started the car and steam quickly filled the car. We decided to try some bar’s leak in the radiator to see if that will seal the leak. I hope it does, because changing the heater core is a 6 hour job in his car and involves tearing the whole dashboard apart. He drove it back home to Mt Pleasant. It was still steaming but not as bad. It might take a while to get all the coolant out of the ductwork. He’s going to his mom’s in Clio on Tuesday so I will look at it more there. I also have to check his ball joints to see how bad they are. The brakes may need some work too. It looks like another busy week. I am getting ready to go to Clio for the night. We are leaving my brother’s at 5:30 am so I am spending the night there. I was invited out to Mt Pleasant to party with Brenden and his friends tonight, but decided against driving that far knowing I have to get up so early. I have slowly been getting caught up on my computer work here.

One of my readers asked to see a picture of the car I bought, so here it is:

It is a 1998 Chevy Lumina, burgundy, one of my favorite colors.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.

You’ll have to enlighten a poor gal stuck in Florida: do all cars in Michigan come with snow (:-))? From what is visible beneath the drift, that looks like a really cool car! Got some sleek lines! Yea, You!!!
