I got up this morning and ate breakfast. Didn’t really have a whole lot to do today, so I got online, talked to my son for a half hour or so, and read for a while. I got some very engaging books to read that are going to help me a lot I think. Then, I got online and talked to a friend of mine for a couple hours. After that, I went to the park by the house to take some pictures. Nothing that I saw really caught my eye, so I decided to take some pictures of a couple of local buildings. I’ve always like seeing the old buildings so I figured it would be good practice to photograph them. Here are the best two that I took:
I still need more practice, but I think they turned out pretty good. I’d love to visit some of the old churches in Europe and Asia.
I am going to get ready to watch the Las Vegas Sprint Cup race, and then read some more. It should be a good race. Hope you all have a great night!

These are cool pix! The first one especially reminds me of a church out in the country a friend took me to see that his great grandfather had built, and he had made sure to have the same “W” formation of the steeples and roofline to indicate his own last name, which started with W. —- or maybe that was just a family urban legend.
