I had quite the day today. The start of the day went pretty well. The morning was spent working on the washer and dryer project. I spent a couple hours after that answering e-mails and chatting online. At 4pm I left to go see my therapist. We had a very good session. She had me state some of the things that are bothering me. I won’t go in to what they are here, but most of it is stuff that I know is probably already decided for me. I am okay with that and am starting to accept it. That’s the first step I guess, accepting what you can’t do anything about. I remain upbeat for some reason. I know I am really working hard to improve myself and am proud of that. I have a little money saved and will add to it with my next unemployment check. I may be starting a full time job in the next couple weeks and that will help too. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and unless the rug suddenly gets pulled out from under me, I will get there. I am gaining more and more confidence in myself every day. After therapy, I met a friend of mine for dinner. That went pretty well. We got a few things straightened out that have been avoided for a while. I stopped off at Lowe’s for the rest of the supplies for the washer and dryer project and came home. I just have the dryer vent to finish now, everything else is done. I washed a load of towels and dried them. There is a little overflow from the washer outlet, but I think that is easily fixable. Since I finished that up, I relaxed and watched Shreik and Monsters, INC. I love Disney/Pixar movies. Maybe I am just a kid at heart.
