Good morning everyone. This cold I have is sticking with me. I managed to get about 7 hours sleep last night. The post nasal drip is what bothers me the most, that and the sinus headache that goes with a cold. I am drinking coffee, hoping that that helps clear my throat a little. I don’t usually make coffee  in the morning,  but I thought I’d give it a try.

I took a picture of my desk this morning. I am trying different settings on my camera, so bear with me as I learn how to use it.

That one was taken with the camera set to auto. Now another:

Taken with ISO setting on high. Which picture is better? I know I have a lot of crap on my desk and I am going to work on getting it straightened up.  A few observations though. Notice the card with the cat face on it? That’s the card I received from my daughter for Valentine’s Day. The little stuffed bear in front of the card came with it. That little pink thing to the right is the little bears bottle. Above the little pink thing in the wire basket is a ceramic cat that my roommate gave me for my birthday last month. It’s mostly black with a white face. The green, pink, and yellow sticky notes on the lamp arm are reminders to feed Sparky (the wonder fish), water the plants, and drive safe. They are from my other roommate that is in Tennessee visiting a friend down there. My speakers have buttons on them. One of them is for Penguicon, the other is a happy bunny that says “I hate everything”. Next to the left speaker is the card that Rachael gave me a couple weeks ago. Yes, I still keep it on my desk. In front of the card are my headphones. I don’t want to bother my roommates when I am listened to i-Tunes or playing a game. I think I need a bigger desk. . . or less stuff.

I talked to my son last night on the phone. He told me he has been ubber busy with student teaching. He seems to be doing okay with it though and likes it. He wants to meet later this week for dinner or something after school. I am real proud of him. He’ll be done with college this year. His mom (my ex) is a substitute teacher and seems to enjoy it. His grandfather (on his mom’s side) was a teacher also if I remember right.

Let me know your opinion on which picture is better. I think the second one, but I’ve been wrong before. Hope everyone has a great day.
